Neil Wilson
Research Assistant
Neil joined the Intimacies of Remote Warfare as a research assistant in January 2020 while studying his Master’s in Conflict Studies and Human Rights at Utrecht University, from which he graduated cum laude. This followed a Joint Honours degree in Politics with Central & Eastern European Studies at the University of Glasgow.
Neil is interested in all things security, technology and power, and is currently particularly intrigued by the technologies of remote warfare. This led him to conduct thesis research on an emerging “Military-Technological Complex,” or the growing role of Silicon Valley tech companies in developing and applying consumer technologies for military purposes.
