Alex Francis

Alex is the Project Officer for the Realities of Algorithmic Warfare and the Intimacies of Remote Warfare programme while pursuing her Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Utrecht University. Her work involves organizing and documenting meetings, handling information management tasks, writing website posts and conducting research assignments. Alex’s research interests lie in the role of AI in modern warfare, and addressing its ethical, legal, and practical concerns from a technological perspective. Alex holds a BA in Arabic Language and Culture from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a BA in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
